Hand drawn mind maps on the iPad

hand drawn mind map on the iPad

Is it possible to make a hand drawn (or to be more precise finger drawn) mind map on the iPad? Yes, but it’s not easy and delivers clumsy results.

I have been experimenting a lot making hand drawn mind maps on the iPad. It would be great to make that happen. You can easily make mind map notes during meetings, mapping a talk with your client or whenever there is a flow of brilliant ideas.

The problem is that the finger is too thick (anyway mine is) and the screen of the iPad is calibrated for use with a finger. I have tried the JustMobile stylus, but the tip is still not thin enough to draw stylish, organic, mind maps.

I was in the mood of giving up when I came into contact with Ivo Beckers. He has sent me several pens with a woven conductive fabric wrapped around the tip. This works better and better. The mind map Bottlenecks Moerdijk is the result. I was made during the broadcasts on the Chemical Factory Blaze in the industrial area of Moerdijk, destroying the complete facility. The mind map focusses primarily on what (I thought) went wrong in the communications.
