Mapping a nuclear disaster

This mind map was made during the first days of the quake-crippled reactors in Japan.
The only possible positive outcome for this Japanese nightmare, may be that it will lead to rethink building nuclear power plants. To prioritize the location and the use of materials. A promising field of research is the use of  self-repairing or self-healing materials within nuclear reactors.  Los Alamos National Laboratory scientists are active in this area. For now, lets pray the Japanese get control of the stricken nuclear facilities.
