Joy of less: edit your life

Mindmap © Hans Buskes, Peter te Riele

Another beautiful TED talk (over half a million views) by Graham Hill how we are piling up stuff and keep buying more stuff, without getting happier.

The talk was live mind mapped by Peter in roughly six minutes, and edited by me in also roughly 6 minutes. Adding images took another five minutes.

  1. Excellent to work together with a real mindmap-master. I picked one of the TED-talks random. It was a short one: nearly 6 minutes. I did the mind map ‘live’.. It took me 15 minutes extra to bring it into order and to find a few pictures to strengthen the power of this mindmap. I send it to Hans Buskes. He used my mind map to get the result as shown in this blog.
Thank you Hans, you taught me an important lesson about mindmapping! Hope we will do it again.
