I like the double mentions (music/writer) in some Dylan songs. Like: “I’m listening to Neil Young, I gotta turn up the sound” in combination with “I say, I read Erica Jong!” (Highlands). And: I’m listening to Billy Joe Shaver” in combination with ‘And I’m reading James Joyce” (I feel a change is comin’ on).
If you would count the references as well, you”ll get much higher scores. Steinbeck for example is not mentioned in any of Dylan songs, but there are plenty of references. For example the line “I can live on rice and beans” (Workingman’s Blues #2) is taken from Steinbeck’s The Grapes of Wrath.

Nice mind map but you missed a boxer, Davey Moore.
The analysis is performed by (new) mind map software (and afterwards polished up in iMindmap) so it is not strange that some mentions may have been overlooked, although this one (Davey Moore) is very obvious.
